Polypure sheets are polyurethane foam sheets with a very fine texture. The texture is finer and harder than that of Styrodur and Delpron. They allow a very accurate engraving of stones or paving stones with the engraving wheels or with hand tools. This material is solvent resistant. To make dark joints for a paved street, you can first paint with a solvent paint of the color of the stone you want. Then... once this layer is dry... apply a wash of dark gouache and rinse well. Once dry, you can sand lightly to remove traces of dark gouache.
